                Clairet
Situated a few kilometers away from the estuary of the Gironde, the domain benefits from a big diversity of terroirs. 
The sol composition, the climate and the exposure of every plot of land transmit to the wine fragrance bouquet and characteristic flavors. It is what motivates us to harvest and vinify grapes from each plot separately.

The grape are preferentially harvested in the morning in order to avoid to damage grapes by an excessive heat. After a manual sorting in the wine storehouse, the fruit are sent by gravity into vats.

Thanks to a control of the temperatures, the fermentations with low temperature are preferred and led with delicacy.

Once the fermentations were ended, the assembly of the various plots of land and the three varieties (Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc) is made by means of experimented oenologists

The breeding is made in tank cement for the soft wines, and in French oak barrels during 12 - 15 months for the more structured vintages.

Wait twelve good months, enjoy the nectar stemming from every barrel and develop your vintage “L’Esprit du Seguy” as the expression of so beautiful country, the vineyard which it feeds, in the care applied of the wine maker. A wine dedicated to the amateurs of Bordeaux Vintages bred in barrels!
The 2016 Vintage assembles 60% of Cabernet Sauvignon, 23% of Merlot and 17% of Cabernet Franc.

The vintage "Le Fruit du Seguy"
2020 Novelty : Le Fruit du Seguy

The objective of this cuvee is to get the purest expression of the fruit from the best plot of Merlot wine.
The grapes are harvested barely ripe, then delicately sorted. The fermentation is led at low temperature.
The wine is aged in terracotta jar during 12 months. Thanks to a micro-oxygenation, the fruity aromas are sublimated.
Taste this cuvee on beef, duck or refined cheese especially.

The vintage "Mirandole"
The vintage “Mirandole”  has been bred during twelve months in barrels. It is a colored, extremely concentrated wine. The captivating nose associates very ripe fruits with delicate floral flavours. The mouth is warm in a beautiful aromatic range supported by robust tannins. An attractive Vintage wine to be appreciated on marinades, steaklets of duck, confits, cans, guinea fowls and quails, as well as cheeses of character.

The « classic » vintages of Seguy
The vintage "Echanson" 
A great vintage by its intense and young color and by its very fruity bouquet, discreetly wooded, then, by its fresh, fond greedy and supple mouth in the already affable tannins which gives the impression of crunching the grape. 
Vintage : Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc.
On roast, lamb, as refined cheeses.

The vintage "Compagnon"
Steady robe and nose nicely differentiating. The mouth, fleshy and structured, is balanced well in a pleasant aromatic expression. A wine on the fruit which will accompany both plates pork butchers and red meats and poultry.

The "surprising" vintage of Seguy
The vintage « Clairet » or « Pink vintage »
Of well-dressed pink, in the nose opening on a wide aromatic range which completes a greedy, pleasant mouth and of beautiful vigour. Another way of envisaging the Rosé in support of your apéritifs, salty tarts, terrines and delicatessen, as grilled meats and paellas. 
Vintages :  Cabernet Sauvignon,  Merlot and Cabernet Franc.
