Situated a few kilometers away from the estuary of the Gironde, the domain benefits from a big diversity of terroirs.
The sol composition, the climate and the exposure of every plot of land transmit to the wine fragrance bouquet and characteristic flavors. It is what motivates us to harvest and vinify grapes from each plot separately.
The grape are preferentially harvested in the morning in order to avoid to damage grapes by an excessive heat. After a manual sorting in the wine storehouse, the fruit are sent by gravity into vats.
Thanks to a control of the temperatures, the fermentations with low temperature are preferred and led with delicacy.
Once the fermentations were ended, the assembly of the various plots of land and the three varieties (Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc) is made by means of experimented oenologists
The breeding is made in tank cement for the soft wines, and in French oak barrels during 12 - 15 months for the more structured vintages.
