The Environment, and more generally, the Sustainable Development are at the heart of my concerns. To protect the women and the men invested in their work in the domain, to assure the economic performance of the company, and, to protect our environment, are essential for me.
The nature deserves constancy and respect. The vineyard gives the best of itself when it is balanced. Let us return to the nature what she gives to us so generously.
For that purpose, since 2015, we have started an ambitious program of reduction of the use of pesticides. We have also preferred organic manuring. The progressive grassing of our vineyards has allowed us to eliminate chemical weed-killers.
Then, in 2018, I took the decision to go to organic production.
The rich and diversified local ecosystem supplies us a diversity of very useful insects.
Furthermore, our glass bottles, aluminium caps, paper labels and cardboard packaging are all 100% recyclable. They are all sourced locally in order to limit environmental impacts. Our barrels’ suppliers are also local. Thanks to the treatment of our effluents by a local cooperative, we have seriously reduced environmental impacts.
The use of sulphites has been reduced to the strict minimum thanks to high hygiene in the winery.
